Associted Members

Definition of Associate Status

UMR SADAPT distinguishes several categories of associates:

• Associate members are researchers, engineers, or teachers who belong to another research unit or another department of one of the UMR’s supervising institutions and who wish to develop long-term collaborative relationships with UMR SADAPT;
• Independent members are from private or public organizations who have been trained at UMR SADAPT or have developed lasting working relationships there, and who seek scientific recognition of their work. The UMR expects this association to foster better synergy between research and development (identifying new questions, operationalizing results, decoding societal demands);
• Associated doctoral students are students who are conducting their thesis with a supervisor and funding external to the UMR, but who benefit from co-supervision within the UMR. The association allows them to participate in the scientific life of the UMR.
