More details : This course is the sister program of the flagship BVBD course run annually by the Institute for Health in the Human Ecosystem (IHHE), University of Idaho (🇺🇲). Our French edition 🇫🇷, organized with support from the IMPLANTEUS graduate school, is designed to support international participation while reducing the environmental footprint of long-distance travel. What is BVBD–France? BVBD–France shares the mission, core teaching elements, and hands-on approach of the Idaho course: building a lasting knowledge network of researchers and practitioners who advance the science and interventions for plant, animal, and human vector-borne diseases . Faculty interactions between the two programs—and shared instructors—ensure aligned pedagogy, while each course keeps its distinctive focus shaped by its teaching team and case studies. Who should apply? Graduate students, postdocs, practitioners, and early-career professionals with foundational knowledge of vector-borne diseases who want to bridge disciplines (biology, ecology, epidemiology, modeling, social sciences...) and work on real-world “wicked challenges.”   All details—including the program and the application form—are on the website: https://lnkd.in/emrbqd4c
